Luxury Glamping at Camp 2

Hi, this is Alix.

Valerio has been sounding very strong on our calls. He made it to Camp 2 in just over 6 hours and curled up in his tent for the afternoon to cook dinner and rest. As usual on his climbs, he's been making the tortellini he brought from Rome, complete with little pre-prepared baggies containing his ground pepper and grated parmesan.

The team took an extra day at Camp 2 due to high winds and some concerns about rope- fixing, so will be leaving around 5am in the morning to climb to Camp 3. Deep snow and high winds have trapped a couple of the other teams at Camp 4 which means they will have to forge ahead soon as they cannot stay at altitude for long.

Overall he sounded good and is hopeful so far!
